Nothing bike related was stolen since it was at an office but they did take the petty cash that was in an office along with our security system's hard drive and server. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but after buying two new doors and locks and adding a deadbolt to the office and the replacement cost of the security system's hard drive and server we are out about $50K. Luckily, the bank deposit was not there and our insurance deductible is only $1000. Just more aggravation at the office but what else is new? Now we have decided to take the extreme percussion of hiring a private security firm to patrol the interior during business hours and 24/7 outside and we are investing in a more elaborate security system and reinforcing the walls to the office where the money and the security system is kept with 3/4" steel.

My dad has the Black AMEX card and my mom has one of his subsidiary Black cards. I kind of wish I had one because I feel special when I walk in and tell the manager that I am a Black cardholder and he immediately locks the doors while you go shopping. Since I am only 20 and I don’t need a minimum credit level of $500,000 I don’t need a Black AMEX. On the other hand, nor do my parents but I guess it is just something we can say we have.
